Only one person should not make the list, and that is Kelechi Iheanacho. He didn’t have a good season, and when you look at the last time he played for Nigeria, he wasn’t impressive as well. In defence, maybe Jamilu Collins. He is the only one that is relatively inexperienced.
The first player on everybody’s mind is Iheanacho. He left Man City for a relatively smaller team, and many people thought he would perform, but in over 30 games he played for Leicester, he managed just two goals. I don’t think Iheanacho merits a place in the squad with his present form, along with defender Semi Ajayi.

I think Paul Onuachu should go because I haven’t really heard much about him. If I were Rohr, I’ll also drop Samuel Kalu.

Iheanacho doesn’t deserve a place in the AFCON team. I also think goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi is not in very good form.

The two players I feel should be dropped from the Super Eagles AFCON squad are Iheanacho and Moses Simon. Iheanacho didn’t perform well last season, he just didn’t play well.

Iheanacho struggled in the just-concluded EPL season. So, I think he should be the first person to be left out of the team. The other player should be Chidozie Awaziem because we have enough centre-backs to make do with.

I feel Balogun and Moses Simon should be dropped. Balogun wasn’t active at his club last season, so obviously, he won’t be fit for the AFCON because of match rustiness. Simon was just a bit part player, so he’s also not fit for the squad.
