Swiss police say at least 17 people were injured when a high-speed train crashed into a bus in Interlaken near Bern.
Police said in a statement that the accident happened on Friday night at a railway crossing.

Interlaken is a popular tourist destination, linking the Swiss capital, Bern and the Jungfraujoch - the highest railway station in Europe. It has been reported that the coach is registered to an Austrian company. The coach driver was one of the injured.The statement said that 16 people were taken to surrounding hospitals but that it was not yet clear how severely they were injured. Another person took themselves to hospital after the accident.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
