Sometimes the simplest of things can truly boggle the mind, like this clip of a guy bouncing a ball back and forth to "himself" in a "mirror".
The internet has gone bonkers over the ball, attempting to figure out what the hell is going on in this colossal optical illusion.
Since Kevin Parry, from Oregon, posted the video, which shows himself standing in front of a mirror and playing catch with himself, everyone has been trying to figure it out.
Many believe the stop-motion animator used editing software to carry out the clever trick - but we here at news.com.au believe there is in fact TWO people bouncing the ball, and that there is in fact NO MIRROR AT ALL. Outrageous, we know.
Take a look and judge for yourself. Can you figure it out?
Another agreed with us: "You can see there is actually no mirror in the clip. When you look to the bottom left of the screen you will see there is no reflection of the silver soap dispenser by the sink."One reader suggested to news.com.au: "The light changes on the bathroom bench, showing that the clip was shot at different times of the day or even on different days."
But there is this intriguing insight: "There is a mirror but it's just been edited. You can see a little pause as the ball hits the mirror."One reader suggested to news.com.au: "The light changes on the bathroom bench, showing that the clip was shot at different times of the day or even on different days."
