Hundreds march in Paris for 25th Yellow Vests protest

Hundreds of protesters gathered in Paris on Saturday for the 25th consecutive weekly Yellow Vests march.

While thousands of Yellow Vests took part in the May Day rally three days earlier, turnout was noticeably lower on Saturday, with the Interior Ministry estimating a total of 3,600 protesters throughout France and only 1,000 in Paris.

Tens of thousands have marched in the streets of France every Saturday since November 2018 for a variety of grievances ranging from taxes on fuel to income inequality.
