A SURPRISING hero offered Manchester United help in stopping Barcelona's star Leo Messi in the Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday.

And, having realised beating the Catalans won't be a cakewalk after all, a Red Devils fan came up with an unexpected solution of how to keep Messi quiet at Old Trafford.
Simply, just don't let him into the country.
Fortune, who won the Premier League title with United during his seven-year spell at the club, tweeted he had met a border control officer who joked she would stop Messi from entering the UK.
He tweeted yesterday: "Just landed back in sunny Manchester.
"The lady at passport control was very kind and promised me that she won’t let Messi in. Man Utd fans are the best."
