Olu and Joke have spent over 3 decades in marriage and they are aging gracefully. Well, their son, Olusoji and his wife Boma have welcomed their first child.
The baby named Oluwasoromidayo Atarah Owanemi Abimbola Jacobs was born in Maryland, USA, one week ago.
Announcing that Olu Jacobs and Joke Silva have welcomed their first grandchild following the birth of their baby, Boma wrote on Instagram;
“My Heavenly Father has done it again. His Grace upon my life is inexplicable…the past couple of years has been phenomenal.
Wow @mrjacobs_jnr I still can’t believe we are now responsible for another life.

You will recall that the wedding of Olusoji Jacobs and Blessing Douglas had been held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at The Dome, This Present House, Lagos.
After sharing their colourful pre-wedding pictures few days before their traditional wedding which held on July 13, 2018, the couple had the day of their lives in the company of family friends and a host of celebrity friends.
The couple’s traditional wedding held in Buguma, Port Harcourt a week earlier, but the church ceremony on July 21, held in Lagos where Pastor Tony Rapu of This Present House Church officiated the ceremony, overseeing the couple’s exchange of wedding vows.
What followed the church ceremony was a big celebration which took place at The Eventistry, Lekki.
Nollywood stars, Kunle Afolayan, Omotola Jolade, Rita Dominic, Ufoma McDermott, Hilda Dokubo, Mo Abudu, Richard Mofe Damijo, Chidinma Ekile, Kate Henshaw, Iretiola Doyle and a host of others came to honour the couple on their big day.
Other dignitaries who attended the events are Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Transport; Donald duke, former governor of Cross River State; Deputy governor of Lagos state, Dr Aderanti Adebule; Wife of Ekiti State Governor-Elect, Erelu Bisi Fayemi.
