An avid fan in China has supposedly cried so much while viewing the three-hour blockbuster that she needed to be taken to the emergency clinic straight from the cinema.
The 21-year-old Chinese lady, known by an alias Xiao Li, was said to have been watching the midnight premiere last Wednesday in the eastern Chinese city of Ningbo. Witnesses say that she cried constantly all through the motion picture.
The doctors at the city’s Mingzhou Hospital reported that Xiao Li experienced issues breathing when she was brought into the ER by her companions who had been watching the film with her. They further added that her hands would not stop twitching.
‘After we watched her symptoms, we noticed that she had been crying and wheezing excessively, which resulted in shortness of breath,’ said the doctor, Yuan Liyan who treated Xiao Li.
Dr Yuan said she and her medical team gave Xiao Li an oxygen treatment and then put a mask on her face. The patient’s condition improved after a brief time, the surgeon included.
