As at the time of filing this report, we cannot ascertain the cause of his death, but it was hinted that the Rivers State born actor slumped at a bar in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, yesterday, the 28th of April and died immediately. Confirming his death, his elder brother who picked a call put across his phone number, 08183212555 confirmed the death to another actor, TC Okafor who had called to speak with him when the news of his passing on was broken to him.
Before his death, Dammy Eke was a Justice of Peace, JP, an Ambassador for Peace of UPA, and an actor. In 2014, Dammy Eke who hailed from a royal family, reportedly lost his father, HRM KING FRANK EKE (JP) CON. (Eze Gbaka-Gbaka Of Ikwerre Land) and first civilian deputy Governor Of rivers -state, who died at the age of 83 years.
Year in year out, we mourn one actor or the other. But even though they are not physically present, some of these actors have remained present on screen and continued to dominate the industry somehow. It is nature’s plan that when the time is right, we would all exit this world. In the entertainment industry, many actors and actresses (known and unknown) have since answered the call and joined their ancestors. But even in death, they remain very popular both on air and on social media.
