Authorities say a plane traveling from Mexico to Germany was diverted to Florida after a passenger attacked several people and threatened others.
A US attorney's office news release says 34-year-old Oliver Charles Halliday Gee, a British national who lives in Mexico, was arrested after an emergency landing last week at Jacksonville International Airport. He was charged with assault or intimidation of a flight crew and faces up to 20 years in prison.
According to the criminal complaint, on November 2, 2016, Gee was a passenger on Condor flight 2115 traveling from Cancun, Mexico, to Frankfurt, Germany.
Before takeoff, Gee demanded to be served alcohol and was behaving aggressively. Approximately 90 minutes into the flight, Gee threatened to kill another passenger aboard the flight and threatened and intimidated a three-year-old child. Gee proceeded to insult flight attendants aboard the flight and at one point began removing his clothes, exposing his penis.

The attendant and passenger were able to restrain Gee in a seat and the flight was diverted to Jacksonville International Airport for an emergency landing.
Gee announced his intention to urinate in the cabin and was escorted to the toilet by a flight attendant and a passenger who volunteered to assist. While being escorted, Gee slapped both the attendant and the passenger. Gee also threatened to kill the passenger and stated that he knew people in Mexico who would kill the passenger for him.
Gee was arrested and taken into custody by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The plane was then refueled and continued to its destination.
