In celebration of his birthday on July 22, 2016, Gospel singer Frank Edwards releases a song titled 'Miracle God' as a way of giving thanks to God.
'Miracle God' is the second single off his "Birthday" EP, and the song was self-produced by Frank Edwards.
Frank Ugochukwu Edwards, simply known as Frank Edwards, is a Nigerian
contemporary Christian singer-songwriter and recording artist from
Enugu, Enugu State. He is the founder and owner of record label Rocktown
Records, which is home to recording artists such as Edwards himself,
Gil, Divine, Living Waters and Sophiya among others. Frank Edwards was
born into a family of seven. His birth name is Frank Ugochukwu Edwards.
He was born in Enugu state of Nigeria. He has five siblings. He began
singing at the age of ten years. He learned to play the piano from his
father when he was young. He has six albums and many hit singles to his
name.
Frank Edwards (nicknamed rich boy) is a member of Christ Embassy Church in Nigeria and LoveWorld Music Ministry where he began his music career under Loveworld Records in 2008 recording massive popularity and recognition with his debut. Mr. Edwards plays several musical instrument and is a keyboardist. His debut album The Definition was released in 2008. It was a 14-track album and was distributed by Honesty Music. Angels on the Runway his second album was released in 2010 and another, Unlimited, in 2011. Tagjam, was released in November 2011.
In 2014, Frank released his sophomore album titled “No Limits” which was a double CD album collection of songs most of which became hits on release and topped the charts. He is currently known as Nigeria’s Hottest Gospel rock artiste in Nigeria. In 2013 he appeared in the live performance of Sinach’s “I know who I am” video. Besides being an artist with many songs in all musical genre, He is also a talented music producer. As a result, Rock Town Records, which he owns, has a generation of up-coming talent with names like GIL, Divine, Nkay, Soultune and many others
In May 2011 he was nominated as the Gospel artiste of the year in the sixth annual Nigeria Entertainment Awards (NEA). He won the award of the best Gospel Rock artiste in the first annual awards. He also won west Africa best male vocalist in 2012/ best hit single at the love world awards 2012/ and 3 awards at the Nigeria gospel music awards (male artiste of the year,song of the year and best male vocal)
In 2013, at The Experience (a largest gospel music concert in
Africa), Donnie McClurkin whilst performing on stage called our Frank
Edwards to join him and sing his own version of donnie’s popular song
“Holy”.
Frank didn’t disappoint. In 2014, Frank once again bags The Nigerian Entertainment Awards (NEA), emerging as the Gospel Artiste of the Year. Frank till date continues to push the boundaries of gospel music and explore genres. His is Africa’s most listened gospel artists. Frank was appointed Youth Ambassador for INEC (Nigeria’s Electoral Commission) in 2014.

The winner of several Nigerian Gospel Music Awards, Edwards released a number of popular contemporary Christian albums, including Angels on the Runway (2010) and Unlimited (2011). He is also known for his work with both the LoveWorld Music Ministry and the Christ Embassy Church (Nigeria).
BEFORE FAME
He learned to play the piano during his early years and took up singing at age ten. His teenage conversion to Christianity led him to focus his career on religious music.
