The city of Orlando is publishing the names of those killed in a massacre at a gay nightclub on its website after their families have been contacted.
Fifty people were killed in the attack.
• Edward Sotomayor Jr., 34
Edward Sotomayor was a caring, energetic man known for wearing a silly top hat on cruises, said David Sotomayor, who identified himself as the victim's cousin.
David Sotomayor, who lives in Chicago, told The Associated Press Sunday that Edward worked for a company that held gay cruises and often traveled to promote the company's events.
"He was just always part of the fun," David Sotomayor said.
The two discovered they were related after meeting at Orlando's annual Gay Days festival around a decade ago.
David Sotomayor is a drag queen who appeared on a season of the show using the name "Jade." He said Edward Sotomayor supported him and often sent him Facebook messages. They last exchanged messages late last week.They texted regularly and kept in touch, last seeing each other earlier this year at a filming of the television reality show "RuPaul's Drag Race," David Sotomayor said.
"You never think that's going to be the last time you speak to him," David Sotomayor said. "It's just heartbreaking to know it just can happen anytime."

The young technician who'd gone out for the night with his girlfriend was last seen pushing people out of the way of flying bullets.
Today the young victim is being remembered as a "beautiful human" with a "big heart".
His mother Rosalie Ramos, 51, described him as a happy man with a big heart.
She told the Otago Sentinel she had expected her son, who was a couple of weeks shy of turning 24, would return home from his night out with his girlfriend hungry.
She had even whipped up some tomato and cheese dip and left it in the fridge for him to eat upon his return.
But at 2am in the morning, she was wakened by the news he'd been caught up in the shooting.
"I was hoping maybe [he was shot in] the hand or the leg," she said. "You can survive [a gunshot to] the leg."
"But he was hit three times: in the chest, the stomach, the side, and died at Orlando Regional Medical Center."
Her son, who she said was quite "fussy" with his hair and changed it often, graduated from East Ridge High School in Clermont in 2011 and studied at Anthem College.
Aunt Yoly, told the local newspaper he was an "amazing person with a good soul".
She said the young woman who was with him as he came out of the bathroom said he'd pushed people out of the way of the flying bullets.

Luis Vieoma, 22 of Venezuelan descent worked at the Universal Studios' Harry Potter theme park.
Initially reported missing, he's the seventh confirmed victim.
He was living in Sanford, a city north of Orlando and went to the club for a Latin Night to go dancing with a female friend. His brother, Brian Vielma, was earlier reported to have said he'd been texting and calling his brother since the shooting, but there was no answer.
"My mum is out of the country and it'll be hard for her," he told the Guardian. "We're just praying."
• Juan Ramon Guerrero, 22
Guerrero told his cousin Robert Guerrero he was gay about two years ago, but he was worried about how the rest of his family would react. He did not tell them until just before the beginning of this year. And when he did?
"They were very accepting," said Guerrero, 19. "As long as he was happy, they were OK with it."

A well-known hairstylist in Orlando who regularly works with local telemundo news affiliate TV station. Barron Cerrano, told the Guardian his brother was at Pulse celebrating a friend's birthday and goes to the club's Latin nights once or twice a month.
• Jose Martines, 24
Works at a Mexican restaurant in Altamonte. Katherine Rosales told the Guardian she suspected her cousin had become a victim after the restaurant called to say he'd not turned up for work on Sunday morning. "He's a hard worker, six days a week, he enjoys his job and wouldn't just not turn up to work," Rosales said. "He's never missed a day.
"He'd let somebody know what had happened to him if he was able. If he's lying critically ill in hospital and nobody knows who he is, that's still better than the alternative."

Rosales told the Guardian her cousin enjoys dancing every weekend and thought nothing of driving miles to downtown Orlando to go to Pulse. "It's his life," she added.

His mother Mina Justice told AP he was in the club when the attack took place. He texted asking her to call the police, but then had to run into a bathroom to hide. He then texted her: "He's coming." The next text said: "He has us, and he's in here with us," she said. "That was the last conversation."
• Anthony Laureano, 25
He had posted on Facebook he was off to Pulse for a "night of fun and dancing with his roomates". The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that's the last the family have heard from him. Calls to local hospitals to find him have proven unsuccessful.
• Christopher Leinonen
His mother, Christine Leinonen, has been outside the hospital since 4am waiting to hear what had happened to her son. She told ABC News that her son' friend had seen his boyfriend taken by ambulance from the club with multiple gunshot wounds.
• Martin Torres
Cousin Maria Arocho hasn't heard from him since the shooting. He'd gone to the Pulse nightclub Saturday night [US-time] with his boyfriend.
"It's just so nerve-wracking," Arocho told the Orlando Sentinel. "I haven't heard from him. What do I do? We call him and it goes straight to voicemail."

Married with three children. Jointly manages a Mexican restaurant with his oldest brother Jose Honoratowho said his brother had gone to the club on Saturday night with three friends.
"He won't answer his phone," Jose told the Orlando Sentinel. "His phone is dead. And they won't give me any information in the hospital. I don't know if he's there."
No New Zealanders are believed to have been caught up in the Orlando shooting.
An MFAT spokesperson confirmed the New Zealand Embassy in Washington was in contact with local authorities.
"There is no information at this stage to suggest any New Zealanders have been caught up in the shooting.
