Three suicide car bombings targeted checkpoints of Yemeni loyalist forces in Aden, the southern city which serves as the temporary base for the government, a security official said.
Two bombs exploded simultaneously at separate checkpoints in Shaab district, on the western outskirts of Aden, while a third planted in an ambulance was detonated at checkpoint near Mansura, in central Aden, the official said.
The attacks caused casualties, the official said, without providing a specific details.
