Fifteen people are dead and 20 wounded after a mass shooting at a community college in the US, according to early reports.
It is understood one shooter opened fire at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon at 10.30am local time.
As the college was locked down, other students tweeted from inside.

"Shooter on campus at UCC... literally balling my eyes out and can't calm down," one female student wrote.
"At least 20 shot and 15 confirmed deaths. This is unreal and sick... in the middle of the action."

Local police were joined by FBI and special agents from the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives at the scene.
The ATF is a law enforcement organisation within the US Department of Justice tasked with enforcing federal laws and regulations relating to firearms.
Sky News US Correspondent Amanda Walker says the shooting is believed to have been confined to one building on the school grounds.
While one person has been taken into custody, she says details around their identity remain scant.
"This seems to have gone into that category of being a really serious incident...we see it way too often," she says. "This is a regular, nonetheless tragic real problem in America."
There have been several hundred shootings in the US this year alone.
A livestream of ambulance radio communications for the Roseburg area is being listened to by more than 20,000 people.
An ambulance officer earlier confirmed the scene of the shooting has been secured and no further ambulances are needed.
He said personnel on the scene would not be released for some time, but no further resources were required at the scene.

CNN have reported that one of the wounded was a female who had been shot in the chest.
The injured have been sent to various hospitals in the area depending on their injuries.
Police are clearing the campus building by building.
The college has sixteen campus buildings located on 40 ha near the North Umpqua River.
About 3,300 full-time students and 16,000 part-time students attend UCC. Umpqua Community College serves the greater Douglas County area and was established in 1964.
Kayla Marie later tweeted: "I'm ok. Physically. We're being bused off campus."
