John Carver marked his appointment as
Newcastle United head coach with a win on Saturday as Remy Cabella,
Sammy Ameobi and Yoan Gouffran goals earned a 3-0 victory at Hull City.
Carver was confirmed as Newcastle boss until the end of the season in midweek - having taken the reins following Alan Pardew's departure earlier in January - and celebrated a victory at the fifth attempt to keep Hull in the Premier League's relegation zone.
